Visual Arts

Illustrate Your Inspiration

The visual arts program at Second Baptist School strives to grow students in their knowledge of God and themselves through creative expression in diverse modalities. A primary goal of visual arts throughout the school divisions is to recognize God as a Creator who has instilled in us an ability and passion to create. Students showcase their completed artwork in multiple art shows throughout the year and also have opportunities to collaborate with other programs around the school, from service to theatre. SBS offers diverse artistic opportunities with a range of classes being offered from fifth grade through upper school, including digital and media arts, photography, 2D art, drawing, AP art courses and more.
